Dr. Michael Shevlin is board certified and specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder in addition to joint replacement surgery of the knee and hip. He treats both sports injuries as well as chronic conditions with both operative and non-operative options. Common conditions treated include rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, meniscus tears, ligament injuries of the knee, fractures of both upper and lower extremities, as well as arthritis of the hip, knee, and shoulder. He is up to date on the latest technology and techniques. He utilizes MAKOplasty robotics for his joint replacement surgeries. Dr. Shevlin’s goal is to improve patient’s quality of life and get them back to their active lifestyle. Dr. Shevlin has surgical privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, West Valley Medical Center, and Treasure Valley Hospital.
Dr. Shevlin was born and raised in Helena, MT. He has lived in the treasure valley since 2010. He enjoys all the outdoor activities that Idaho has to offer with his wife and two young girls, including biking, skiing, golfing, hiking, and water sports.
